《功夫七戒》讲述了小鹏是药铺的小伙计，与二叔相依为命，二叔每日教其功夫，十分严格。一日小鹏救下一白发老者，并与其一起行走江湖。一路上老者将一身本领悉数传授与他，并以实际行动告诉他何为“七戒”。不料小鹏的二叔最终被老者所杀，二叔留下书信告知小鹏事实真相——原来老者乃是小鹏的杀父仇人。为报大仇，小鹏苦练武功，终报大仇的故事。
