书法赵孟頫、文徵明。初习写真，得陆春法，後乃专精花鸟，运笔赋色，学北宋人。沈思独往，兴到神来，每出意匠之外。《墨香居画识》、《墨林今话》。《中国美术家人名词典》有其介绍。
